Dana introduces new purchasing option for Spicer carrier product line

Dana Incorporated has improved the ordering options for its genuine Spicer medium- and heavy-duty carriers.

The company announced Monday it now provides two purchasing options for its new genuine Spicer carriers: the core-free option that requires no core deposit or core return and the competitively priced core-exchange option. The new Spicer smart part number identification system makes for easy ordering of medium-duty and heavy-duty carriers, and the company says orders may be picked up or shipped on the same day the order is placed.

“The Dana distribution network is made up of a manufacturing facility, two distribution centers, and 12 logistics centers located throughout the U.S. and Canada. With more than 600 available carrier units strategically placed throughout the network, we can ensure our customers receive them quickly,” says Bill Nunnery, senior director, sales and marketing, global aftermarket, Dana.  “As demand for Dana aftermarket products increases, we have continuously enhanced our distribution networks. The Dana customer service team, along with the dedicated carrier core management experts, stand ready to provide the outstanding service our customers have come to expect.”

Featuring a full, two-year unlimited mile warranty, Spicer says its carriers are built with 100 percent genuine Spicer parts and feature the latest engineering improvements and product enhancements. The company adds genuine Spicer ring and pinions are manufactured with a special grade of steel, heat-treated and shot-peened for optimal hardness and performance, and machined to great precision in matched sets.

“When ordering Spicer medium-duty and heavy-duty carrier assemblies, Dana customers can be confident they are getting genuine Spicer parts that meet original-equipment standards,” says Nunnery.  “Not only are Spicer carriers reliable, affordable, and fully warrantied, but the Dana customer service team works diligently to ensure that orders are received quickly so vehicles can get back on the road without delay.”
